Integrity
We follow a very simple yet effective approach: rather than overpromising on impact we cannot live up to we move slowly and strive to get the details right. We are committed to act with the same transparency and honesty we expect form our partners.
Partnership
We believe that lasting conservation is built with people, not imposed on them. Landowners, local organizations and surrounding communities are treated as active partners in every project we develop, not simply stakeholders to be consulted. Their inherent knowledge is essential to any sustainable and enduring project.

Long-term Thinking
Forests take decades to grow and degraded ecosystems can take generations to recover. We structure our projects and our own organization around that timeframe rather than around short-term outcomes.
Accountability
We take responsibility for what we do. That means being honest about uncertainty, correcting course when new evidence demands it and speaking openly about challenges. For us, accountability means turning good intentions into measurable action.

Shared benefit
We believe that an environmental project is only successful if it also improves the livelihood of surrounding communities, whether through local employment, strengthened land rights or investment in community infrastructure.
