What we do
The global momentum towards a Net Zero world is growing fast.
Out of technical, economic and organizational reasons companies are not yet able to reduce their carbon footprint to a climate neutral level. Therefore, Natural Climate Solutions will play a key role in helping society achieve the transitions needed to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees.
This is the point where we want to make a contribution, helping companies to protect our climate through investing in carbon projects which we develop in Latin America. Our initial focus is Argentina.
All our projects will be in line with highest international standards, always considering biodiversity as well as the interests of local communities.
Who we are
Heiko Meyer, a trained engineer, worked in the oil and gas industry for more than 30 years. Prior to cofounding Vision Net Zero he was the Head of Global Strategy, M&A and Sustainability in WintershallDea and in charge of defining the company’s net zero targets. He is convinced that Nature Based Solution projects are key to compensating for hard-to-abate emissions. Heiko loves the outdoors and is passionate about nature and biodiversity.
Dr. Cosima Meyer, a trained geographer, has been university lecturer, intercultural trainer and OECD election observer for many years. She fell in love with Argentina while living there and started getting involved into nature protection. One of her main focus areas in the development of Natural Climate Solution projects is the involvement of local communities and indigenous people concerned – to the better of their situation.
